Welcome
The Iuventas Foundation is a youth mentoring charity that provides young people with professional mentoring, life coaching and mental health support to enable them to grow as individuals and live happy, healthy and enriched lives.
Mission Statement
The Iuventas Foundation works with young people, often from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with mentoring, mental health support and life guidance to raise their aspiration, to empower them to take charge of their lives and to grow in character and self-confidence.
The Iuventas Foundation Christmas Carol Concert
Wednesday 3rd December at 6.30pm
St. Michael & All Angels Church

Due to the popularity of our first ever Carol Concert last year we had the tricky task of finding an equally beautiful, but rather larger venue, in Oxford but not within the new Congestion Charge area. Roz rose wonderfully to the challenge and this year we would love you to join us at
St. Michael & All Angels Church
Summertown OX2 7ES
The Carol Concert will be the perfect way to kick off your festive season with the fabulous Tyndale Community Gospel Choir at this beautiful Oxford Church.
Enjoy mince pies, a glass of fizz and a very special evening of Christmas music, reading and carols, as well as the chance to hear from some young people supported by The Iuventas Foundation.
Proceeds from the concert will help the Iuventas Foundation to continue providing vital practical, emotional and psychological support for young people in Oxfordshire.
If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to support us please click the Donate Here button below or visit our fundraising page for other ways to show your support.
Regardless of where they have started in life, and the challenges they face,
Our primary goal is to help our young people realise how much they each have to give and to enable them to reach that potential

We believe that every child comes into this world with their own unique and extraordinary gifts to share with others
Our professional mentors spend regular time helping and guiding their mentees to identify their character strengths, what they truly value, their life priorities and what anchors them. This journey of self-discovery acts as a road map to help them understand themselves and what motivates them.
As well as providing a weekly space in which to be listened to, valued and heard, young people in our programmes are empowered to take charge of their futures and encouraged to realise and develop their own sense of agency.
Background to Our Work
So common amongst many of our young people today is the reality that they lack significant positive relationships in their lives. As they grow up and start slowly to develop and understand their sense of self and who they are in the world, they look around them for answers and guidance.
Without nurturing and loving connections as reference points, self-esteem suffers as we believe that self-esteem is developed in relationship with others, not by itself. We work with young people to allow them to come into their power as young adults, to develop their sense of agency and to find nourishing and sustainable ways to meet their needs.

“If the young are not initiated into the tribe, they will burn down the village just to feel its warmth”
