Tom Lewis - Founder
Tom is a certified adolescent coach and youth mentor. He started building the Iuventas Foundation in 2020 to bring the benefits of mentoring to young people who wouldn't get this opportunity otherwise. He has worked for 20 years in a variety of teaching and management roles in state and independent education in the UK and Asia, including two headships.
Tom studied Classics at King’s College, London and began his career in banking before moving into teaching in 2002. He has a passion for creating and building things, including the founding of a new British school in Seoul, South Korea and the establishment of a UK charity supporting a school and orphanage in Kampala, Uganda. Tom is married with two children and lives in Oxfordshire.
“I really benefited from some coaching and mentoring at a difficult time in my own life and know how important and valuable this kind of support can be. Having worked for many years with young people and educators, and more recently becoming qualified to coach and mentor them, I am passionate about the new Iuventas endeavour supporting and guiding young people. Our aim is to help them to see through the challenges that they face, to feel supported and inspired to take action, and ultimately to realise the power and light within themselves”.
