Emma Knapp
Emma is a Level-7 qualified Specialist Teacher, currently working in an independent school in Oxfordshire. Her Specialist Teacher training and degree in Psychology underpin her work with neurodivergent young people who often suffer from low self-esteem and anxiety. She has 15 years experience in both state and private education, and also provides 1:1 specialist study skills support to students preparing for GCSEs and A levels.
Formerly a Senior Houseparent in a large boarding school and a parent herself, Emma understands the challenges facing today’s youth. She has a proven track record in motivating and encouraging young people, nurturing their wellbeing and enabling them to develop and excel.
Outside her work, Emma loves walks with her family and dog, and playing sport. She is delighted to be able to extend her passion for supporting young people by being part of the Iuventas board.
