The Oxford Academy
The Oxford Academy is a secondary academy in East Oxford educating around 1200 children aged 11-19. A warm, friendly and vibrant school that is built on an ethos of high expectations for all and a belief that every child will be successful - academically, personally and as a lifelong contributor to the wider world. Staff at the school have a firm belief in the power of education to shape children’s lives for the better and the school is centred on a culture of excellence, mutual respect and responsibility. More than half of the pupils are eligible for free school meals (almost double the national average) and approximately one quarter of pupils have SEND. This is well above the national average.
The Iuventas Foundation runs mentoring programmes at the Oxford Academy, working with students aged 11-19.
Entelechy Academy
Entelechy is the world’s first EdTech experience for developing human qualities to enhance all skills. An interface between personal development, career progression and human fulfilment, Entelechy is a journey that brings an approach to learning with the principles of mentoring and coaching at heart. Entelechy (meaning the actualisation of potential ie the entelechy of an acorn is an oak tree) believe that Character determines destiny and their products enable anyone, anywhere, to create value from their innate potential.
Entelechy designs products focused on character development and human potential that the Iuventas Foundation uses in its mentoring programmes with young people.
The Other Subject
The Other Subject is a series of coaching programmes and workshops that help pupils and teachers live happier, healthier and more productive lives. Their programmes and workshops can be delivered by school staff onsite, having been trained by a team of specialist adolescent coaches and mentors. This model empowers schools to really take charge and revolutionise wellbeing within their communities. Called 'The Other Subject' because what the programme covers is as important as any other subject on the curriculum, especially given many of the challenges that face our children in today’s world.

EMBS Community College
EMBS is a not-for-profit organisation initially established to improve the economic situation of ethnic minority communities in Oxfordshire through education and skills enhancement. EMBS now provides education, training and careers advice for the whole community, delivering services for young people and adults in Oxford and Banbury. It is well known for working successfully with a range of partners including Jobcentre Plus and it provides courses for over 1000 learners each year, supporting them to find employment or progress to college or university.
The Iuventas Foundation provides counselling and mentoring services at EMBS, working with young people aged 16-19.
The Abingdon Bridge (TAB)
TAB provides well-trained and qualified staff who are able to support vulnerable young people by offering counselling, drug and alcohol advice and support, information and guidance, healthier life styles, community activities and personal safety. The Abingdon Bridge has championed the wellbeing and mental health of young people aged 13-25 across the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire for 30 years. They support young people to have the resilience to help overcome life’s challenges.
The Iuventas Foundation employs coaching and mentoring professionals who work at TAB with young people aged 13-25.
Noble Manhattan Limited
Noble Manhattan Coaching (NMC) was established in 1993 and has grown to become one of the largest and most successful Coaching Training organisations in the World, operating in 31 countries. It is a multi-award-winning company with a well-earned reputation for delivering the highest quality coaching courses and for creating superb coaches. More recently NMC has pioneered and developed a specialist adolescent coaching diploma for working with young people.
Graduates of NMC coaching programmes are regularly contracted at the Iuventas Foundation to mentor and coach young people.
Oxfordshire Youth
Oxfordshire Youth is the leading youth organisation in Oxfordshire. Their vision is for all young people to be empowered, feel respected and know that they are valued. They achieve this through their local network of youth sector organisations, together reaching over 26,000 young people. They believe that informal education and youth work are essential to improving young people’s quality of life. They are committed to helping fulfil potential and provide a youth leadership programme, workshops and training for adults working with young people.
The Iuventas Foundation is an affiliate member of Oxfordshire Youth’s Changemaker Network.
Oxford Spires Academy
Oxford Spires is a state funded secondary academy for children aged 11–18 in East Oxford, formerly known as Oxford Community School and The Oxford School. It is currently part of the Anthem Schools Trust with a co-educational student body of over 1300. The student body is drawn from across the city, though the majority of pupils are from Cowley, Rose Hill, Donnington, and Blackbird Leys. The school encourages students to be the best versions of themselves. Their foundations are built on a vibrant community, strong relationships between students and staff, and nurturing individuality, making the school a strong environment for consistent growth during these crucial school years.
The Iuventas Foundation provides coaching and mentoring services at OSA, working with young people aged 11-18.
